Aerospace Material Coordinator

Ontic, a leading provider in the aerospace sector known for delivering 'Extended Life Solutions' for Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) legacy and non-core products, is seeking a Material Planner to enhance our team.
Key Responsibilities
In this role, you will facilitate efficient material management to align with business objectives and schedules. Collaboration with Supply Chain, Programmes, and Production teams will be essential to ensure timely delivery of products that meet quality standards.
You will take a proactive approach to address any shortages within the supply chain, overseeing goods receipt and inventory management while conducting root cause analysis and implementing solutions as needed. Additionally, you will assess and manage material needs for bulk issuance, including end-of-life strategies, while monitoring and recommending optimal stock levels and safety stock usage.
Required Qualifications
Candidates should possess experience in a manufacturing setting within a Planning or Material role, demonstrating proficiency with ERP/MRP systems, as well as expertise in Forecasting, Production Planning, and Scheduling. Strong communication skills are necessary for effective interaction with both internal and external stakeholders, along with the ability to work independently and influence customer requirements across the organization. Experience in the Aerospace industry is preferred.
