Exciting Opportunity for a Cover Supervisor

4myschools is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Cover Supervisor to work in Secondary Schools in Ware, Hertfordshire. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to make a positive impact on students' academic progress and engagement.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and manage a classroom of students, ensuring they remain on task with the work set by their usual teacher.
  • Support students with their learning, following instructions and ensuring a positive learning environment.
  • Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies and ensure students adhere to school rules.
  • Deliver pre-prepared lessons and activities in a variety of subjects across Key Stages 3 and 4.
  • Report back to the appropriate member of staff on the progress and behaviour of students after lessons.
Requirements:
  • Have strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Be confident in managing classroom behaviour and maintaining a focused learning environment.
  • Have experience working with young people (experience in a school setting is desirable but not essential).
  • Be flexible, adaptable, and ready to work in a variety of schools.
  • Be reliable and organised, with a passion for supporting students' learning.
