About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Strategic Programme Manager to join our team at London North West University Healthcare NHS Trust. As a key member of our Strategy Team, you will play a critical role in supporting the development and implementation of strategies that drive healthcare transformation across North West London.

Key Responsibilities

As a Strategic Programme Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Coordinating complex ICS-wide projects with multiple senior stakeholders
  • Formulating hypotheses to support the development of ICS strategies and developing approaches to prove or disprove these hypotheses
  • Supporting strategic prioritisation activities through the use of health economics methodologies to understand the impact of initiatives on key domains
  • Preparing presentations, papers, and reports for varied audiences that include a diverse array of technical information

About the Team

You will be working closely with our Executive Director of Strategy and Population Health and the Head of Strategy to support on a range of projects, including the urgent and emergency care strategy, the Joint Forward Plan development, and the planned care strategy. You will have the opportunity to work with a diverse array of stakeholders, including residents, operational staff, and senior healthcare executives.

Person Specification

We are looking for a candidate with:

  • A strong ability to think strategically and see the bigger picture in the context of achieving a particular objective
  • Up-to-date understanding of the NHS, including how it's organised, policy developments, and the health equity agenda
  • Strong ability to implement evidence-backed good practice health economic methodologies to measure the impact of proposed initiatives
  • Ability to develop written materials that convey complex, technical concepts in a clear and easily-digestible manner
