About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Strategic Programme Manager to join our Global Credit Risk Change Team at Deutsche Bank in London.

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving and facilitating regulatory compliance, strategic transformation, and process re-engineering in relation to the end-to-end credit life cycle for the Corporate and Investment Bank.

You will work closely with key functions within GSA and Credit, as well as across Deutsche Bank, to deliver change and drive business results.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create and maintain a structured programme plan with clear milestones and timelines, with supporting tracking mechanisms
  • Establish, manage, and drive the Governance and reporting framework in line with Change the Bank (CTB) governance frameworks
  • Report progress and escalate issues across the book of work transparently, undertaking active risk, issue, and dependency management
  • Develop, manage, and control the programme budget, including resource allocation, working closely with Credit Risk IT partners and Change Leads
  • Management of benefits for key deliverable programmes, including monthly reporting, control checks, and financial validation
  • Leadership and management of programme management office teams (direct and indirect resources)

Requirements

  • Expertise in large-scale programme management, senior stakeholder management, and executing strategic change
  • Experience of Financial Markets and Credit Risk Management
  • Experience of delivering technology change in an agile, fast-paced environment
  • Ability to communicate complex messages to stakeholders simply and clearly, both verbally and written
  • Ability to analyse financial data, including budget reports, risk, and resource allocations
  • Ability to work and solve problems independently
