Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Clinical Team Leader to lead a team of healthcare professionals in providing high-quality holistic care to a designated group of service users. The successful candidate will be responsible for performance management of clinical staff, ensuring compliance with our policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leadership and Management: Lead the nursing team in delivering quality care, consulting and liaising with the multi-disciplinary team and service users.
  • Staff Development: Assess training needs and support staff development, providing education to patients, families, and colleagues.
  • Compliance and Governance: Ensure compliance with all policies and procedures, knowledge of current legislation in the care sector.
  • Communication and Negotiation: Effective communication and negotiation skills, ability to manage change and performance effectively.
  • Mentorship: Ability to provide mentorship in a clinical setting.

Requirements:

  • Qualifications: Registered Nurse or degree level qualification.
  • Experience: Experience in specialist palliative or neurological care.
  • Leadership Skills: Proven leadership skills in a clinical setting.
  • Knowledge: Knowledge of current legislation in the care sector.
  • Communication Skills: Effective communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability: Ability to manage change and performance effectively.
  • Mentorship: Ability to provide mentorship in a clinical setting.
