Job Summary:

Consortium Professional Recruitment is seeking a highly experienced and skilled Head of Engineering to lead our client's engineering functions. As a key member of the site operations team, you will be responsible for driving culture and processes forward, ensuring the smooth operation of maintenance, reliability, site infrastructure, and facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage multi-disciplined engineering functions, including maintenance, reliability, site infrastructure, and facilities.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve site reliability and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Foster a positive development culture, leading initiatives such as the engineering graduate program.
  • Collaborate with established and high-calibre teams to agree and drive improvements and progressive processes into departmental operations.
  • Agree and develop appropriate metrics to measure departmental performance.
  • Identify improvement projects and contribute to broader operations activities, identifying opportunities to improve and collaborating on delivering projects to improve processes.

Requirements:

  • Strong technical/engineering background with good awareness and understanding of Automation, Robotics, PLCs, Hydraulic & Pneumatic Systems, etc.
  • Good awareness and understanding of business operations and management principles.
  • Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to foster strong collaborative relationships with key reports and peers.
