Job Overview

We are seeking an enthusiastic and innovative physiotherapist to join our dynamic and friendly team in the Neath Port Talbot Community Reablement Team.

Our mission is to promote independence and improve the daily lives of patients and their families in the community.

Main Duties

The post holder will have skills in managing a range of physiotherapy needs within the community setting.

They will be able to participate in the development of the physiotherapy service within the multi-disciplinary team and have some supervisory responsibilities.

Continuing professional development is actively supported via clinical supervision and personal development plans, postgraduate training, and in-service training.

Person Specification
  • Achieved grade in physiotherapy
  • Professional registration with HCPC
  • Membership of CSP (desirable)
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Supervision of other staff
  • Evidence of maintained CPD
  • Substantial broad range of experience as a band 5 physiotherapist
  • Experience of working as part of a physiotherapy team and/or multi-disciplinary team
  • Contributing to clinical education of less experienced staff or students
  • Knowledge of community physiotherapy services and intermediate care services
  • Involvement in audit, research, and understanding quality issues
