Assistant Wastewater (Hydraulic) Modeller - London

We are currently seeking multiple Assistant Wastewater (Hydraulic) Modellers to join our London Team for a variety of major long-term frameworks across the UK.

RPS Water Consulting is a team of Engineers, Modellers, and Data Analysts providing Asset Management and Operational Strategy development, to our Water Industry clients to support business planning and delivery. This is an exciting time to be working in the water industry, and collaborating with passionate organisations, gives our people the opportunity to create positive change.

About The Team:

Our team is dedicated to providing innovative solutions to manage urban drainage, improve water quality, and control pollution. We work closely with our clients to understand their needs and develop tailored solutions to meet their goals.

About You:

Candidates should possess prior experience with projects in urban drainage settings, along with proficiency in InfoWorks ICM and relevant GIS software. Key responsibilities include:

  • Participating in data collection, management, and analysis for various wastewater projects.
  • Contributing to preparing technical reports, presentations, and project documentation.
  • Supporting the development of solutions to manage urban drainage, improve water quality, and control pollution.

Skills, Knowledge, and Experience:

  • Relevant experience in the water industry.
  • Proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint is expected.
  • Knowledge of modelling software (InfoWorks ICM) and GIS systems (preferably MapInfo, ArcGIS, QGIS).
  • Experience with bespoke software and programming such as FME, Visual Basic, and Power BI is beneficial.
  • A general understanding of and interest in the UK water industry.
