Senior Hydraulic Modeller

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Hydraulic Modeller to join our team at Strata Construction Consulting in our London office. As a key member of our water resources team, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality hydraulic modelling and analysis services to our clients in the water industry.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and deliver hydraulic modelling and analysis services for wastewater catchment strategies and solutions, including model use studies, optioneering, and cost-benefit analysis.
  • Lead and manage project teams, providing technical direction and support, and driving staff performance, motivation, and career development.
  • Ensure quality of outputs and compliance with standards, specifications, and governance requirements.
  • Work closely with clients to understand their needs and deliver solutions that meet their expectations.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in hydraulic modelling, catchment planning, and/or related wastewater infrastructure areas.
  • Proficiency in InfoWorks ICM and relevant GIS software, including MapInfo, ArcGIS, and QGIS.
  • Experience using FME, Optimatics, and Python.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop team members.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients and stakeholders.
