About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Aircraft Mechanic to join our team at British Airways. As a key member of our engineering team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the airworthiness of our fleet.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks on aircraft and components, including component changes, routine checks, and visual inspections.
  • Record and document maintenance activities, ensuring accurate and timely completion of tasks.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to maintain a safe working environment, adhering to quality, health, and safety standards.
  • Support the development of a high-performance team and culture, aligned with British Airways' Hallmarks.
  • Contribute to the delivery of departmental and directorate objectives.
Requirements
  • Minimum 12 months' experience as an aircraft mechanic.
  • Good engineering hand skills and ability to follow procedures and technical documentation.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team.
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills, with proficiency in engineering and document management systems.
  • UK Manual Driving Licence (and Airside Driving Licence desirable).
