Compliance & Validation Manager

Position Overview

As a Qualified Person, you will play a crucial role in supporting batch certification and release activities. Collaborating closely with Project Engineers and the Technical team, you will oversee validation processes, ensuring that new equipment and modifications to processes and products adhere to stringent quality standards. You will serve as a key Quality liaison with Third Party and Reckitt manufacturing sites, addressing quality concerns and changes that may affect products supplied to our facilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee batch release and certification for finished products.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory and corporate GMP standards across all factory operations.
  • Provide Quality input and approval for validation activities related to facilities, new equipment, and product transfers.
  • Implement NPD/EPD in the factory, identifying potential risks and necessary actions.
  • Act as the primary Quality contact for Third Party and Reckitt manufacturing sites, facilitating the resolution of quality issues.
  • Identify and communicate non-compliance and risk factors to Supply Management.
  • Support regulatory audits to maintain manufacturing authorizations and export agreements.
  • Communicate performance indicators that highlight outstanding risks to Supply Management.
  • Offer Quality Technical support for NPD/EPD and manufacturing investigations as needed.

Qualifications

  • Must be eligible to act as a Qualified Person in the UK.
  • Comprehensive understanding of manufacturing operations and quality management systems.
  • In-depth knowledge of legal requirements and guidelines for pharmaceutical manufacturing in Europe.
  • Proven experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Desirable experience in QA systems auditing and risk assessment.
  • Experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing of solid dosage forms.
  • Familiarity with validation, training, and auditing processes.
