Job Title: Staff Nurse

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Staff Nurse to join our team at a medium-sized, built-for-purpose nursing home. As a Staff Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care to our residents and contributing to the overall success of our healthcare team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan, Deliver, Monitor, and Evaluate Care: Develop and implement individualized care plans for residents, ensuring their unique needs are met and their quality of life is enhanced.
  • Medication Administration: Safely administer medications as prescribed, monitoring residents for any adverse effects and maintaining accurate records.
  • Stock Management: Ensure the safe storage and control of all stock medications, preventing overstocking or expired medications.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Liaise with residents, staff, GPs, and other healthcare professionals to promote high-quality care and address any concerns.
Requirements:
  • Experience: At least 1 year of experience as a Staff Nurse in a nursing home setting.
  • Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work independently and as part of a team, and a commitment to delivering exceptional patient care.
