About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Executive Director to lead our Scottish branch of Permanent Futures. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing the performance and processes of the branch, leading the sales team to seek new opportunities, and developing the branch business plan.

Your Key Responsibilities

  1. Manage Branch Performance: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the branch, ensuring that all processes are running smoothly and efficiently.
  2. Lead Sales Team: Provide guidance and leadership to the sales team, helping them to identify and pursue new business opportunities.
  3. Liaise with Management: Collaborate with multi-country management to develop and implement strategies for major accounts.
  4. Develop Business Plan: Create and implement a comprehensive business plan for the branch, aligning with the company's overall goals and objectives.
  5. Manage Compliance: Ensure that all compliance issues, including health and safety, are addressed and resolved in a timely manner.
  6. Recruit and Manage Staff: Recruit, train, and manage a team of staff, providing regular feedback and coaching to help them develop their skills and performance.

  1. Proven Sales and Business Skills: Demonstrate a strong track record of sales and business success, with experience in the flow control industry.
  2. Experience in Sales Leadership: Proven ability to lead and manage a sales team, with a strong understanding of sales strategies and tactics.
  3. Strong Network of Contacts: Establish and maintain a strong network of contacts within the Scottish oil and gas industries.
  4. Excellent Communication Skills: Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
  5. Solid Negotiating and Commercial Skills: Demonstrate strong negotiating and commercial skills, with the ability to identify and pursue new business opportunities.
  6. Experience in Key Account Management: Proven ability to manage and develop key accounts, with a strong understanding of client needs and expectations.
