POSITION SUMMARY

  • This position is integral to a specialized group of legal professionals in the fields of compliance, commercial law, and transactional matters, concentrating on clients across the technology, retail, and financial sectors. The main emphasis will be on payment systems and the associated infrastructure that connects the value chain.
  • An excellent opportunity for a Senior Regulatory Associate to focus on Payments within a vibrant and expanding compliance practice. You will work alongside corporate and commercial teams to strengthen client partnerships and foster growth within the Financial Services Division.

TEAM STRUCTURE

  • The Financial Regulation Division at Addleshaw Goddard is a prominent team in the UK, with a robust presence in key cities. Guided by seasoned Partners, the team is acknowledged for its client-focused and practical methodology.
  • You will join the Payments group, led by Rebecca Hickman, concentrating on various payment solutions such as pre-paid offerings, payment technologies, and merchant services.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Providing guidance on compliance matters related to payment services for both banking and non-banking entities
  • Drafting contracts and supporting authorization submissions
  • Collaborating with transactional teams to ensure seamless operations

CANDIDATE PROFILE

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in Financial Regulation
  • In-depth knowledge of payment services and electronic money enterprises
  • Proven experience in drafting commercial agreements and regulatory clauses
  • Demonstrated skills in business development and client engagement
