About the Role

We are seeking a talented Solicitor/Legal Executive to join our Wills & Probate team at Irwin Mitchell, based in our Sheffield office. The successful candidate will be part of our estate planning division, working closely with Partner Anne McCann to ensure our clients' wealth is protected for them and their families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Advising on, drafting, and executing wills to ensure our clients' wishes are respected.
  • Setting up and administering trusts to manage assets, investments, and property for specific individuals or purposes.
  • Providing expert advice on investments and wealth-holding structures to optimize tax efficiency.
  • Assisting with succession planning to ensure our clients' businesses continue to thrive.
About You

We are looking for a Solicitor/Legal Executive with a passion for estate planning and a proven track record of working on complex estates or with high net worth individuals. The ideal candidate will have:

  • Excellent communication skills to take instructions from clients and provide sound legal advice.
  • Demonstrable experience assisting seniors on high-value, complex cases.
  • The ability to manage their caseload while maintaining attention to detail and delivering exceptional service.
  • A collaborative mindset to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Technical expertise in estate planning, including wills, lasting powers of attorney, and trusts.
  • Aptitude for business development and a passion for growing strong client relationships.
