About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Advanced Nurse Practitioner to join our Acute Oncology Service at King's College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, working autonomously to assess, diagnose, and manage patients with complex cancer-related needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work independently to assess, diagnose, and manage patients with acute oncology needs, including those with metastatic malignancy of unknown origin.
  • Provide expert advice and guidance to colleagues, patients, and their families on cancer-related issues.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, ward rounds, and patient reviews to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans, working closely with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of service improvements, ensuring high-quality patient care and outcomes.
