Team Dynamics

The Infrastructure Investment Team is dedicated to ensuring that the county's transport, housing, and employment sectors are prepared for future demands. The team works on strategic planning policies, guiding housing and business development, and addressing infrastructure requirements, all while partnering with various stakeholders at both national and local levels to turn innovative ideas into reality.

Candidate Profile

We seek an individual with a degree or advanced qualification in town and country planning, surveying, or a related discipline, along with substantial experience in a senior role within a complex political landscape.

A thorough understanding of the development process is essential, allowing you to effectively manage and implement the overall planning policy function. You should demonstrate experience in providing evidence and serving as an expert witness in public inquiries, showcasing your capability to navigate and influence intricate situations.

Furthermore, a proven history of fostering collaborative partnerships among diverse organizations is crucial, as is your ability to champion teamwork and shared objectives. Extensive project management experience, coupled with proficiency in various project management methodologies, is vital for success in this role.
