About the Role:

Datasym is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Part Time Finance & Office Administrator to join our team on a part-time basis. As a key member of our finance team, you will be responsible for providing financial and administrative support to our business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the full credit control process within payment terms
  • Ensure all orders are accurately logged and processed
  • Provide general office administration, including answering main line telephone calls and handling post and deliveries
  • Generate, renew, and supply licenses (training provided)
  • Assist with invoicing, payroll, and banking tasks
  • Liaise with the Finance Director and Accountants
  • Resolve financial issues with clients and suppliers
  • Manage petty cash and staff credit cards
  • Ensure all orders are accurately logged and processed
  • Make payments, process direct debits, and perform office administration tasks

Requirements:

  • Experience in finance and credit control
  • Proficiency in Sage Line 50
  • Office administration experience
  • Methodical and organized work ethic
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Basic understanding of IT
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new tasks
  • Professional telephone manner
  • Can-do attitude

Working Arrangements:

This is a part-time job share position, working 22.5 hours per week. The hours of work will be Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday, 9:00 am to 5:30 pm. Some holiday cover may also be required.
