We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our Corporate Services Team as a Business Support Assistant. This role is a key part of our organization, dealing with queries from colleagues and partners, logging issues, and providing general support to the public and service users.
Key Responsibilities- Provide a comprehensive support service within the organization, including administrative tasks, secretarial support, and coordination of meetings and events.
- Manage the central team inbox, responding to general enquiries and dealing with a range of queries and requests in a responsive and effective manner.
- Maintain effective filing systems and support the organization's objective to be a paperless office.
- Coordinate office facilities, including health and safety checks, maintenance, and requisitions and purchase orders.
- Accurately produce a variety of documents using Microsoft Office packages, including letters, emails, reports, and meeting notes.
- Provide secretarial cover for business support colleagues during periods of absence and assist colleagues during periods of demanding workloads.
- Ensure accurate and up-to-date data is recorded on electronic records systems and communicated to other colleagues as required.
- GCSE grade 9-4 (including Maths and English Language) or equivalent.
- NVQ3 in administration or equivalent level of knowledge and experience.
- Experience of monitoring a general inbox, dealing with incoming enquiries, and general office practices.
- Good communication skills, verbal and written, and ability to plan and prioritize own workload.
