About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Specialist to join our team at Herefordshire and Worcestershire Health and Care NHS Trust. As an Administrative Specialist, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to our Contracts Manager, ensuring the smooth operation of our contracts and procurement processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and validate contract monitoring reports on a monthly basis, investigating and resolving any data quality concerns and reporting any variance from contracted levels.
  • Maintain contract and prices tariffs, making changes and adjustments as necessary.
  • Understand Payment by Results and the National Tariff, ensuring activity is coded and recorded correctly and accurately reported to ensure maximum income from tariff.
  • Produce and validate Non-Contracted Activity (NCA) invoices, ensuring activity levels and values are appropriately invoiced and any resulting queries are resolved to assist timely payment of invoices.
  • Develop and manage a system of active monitoring and tracking of NCA invoices raised, queried, and paid, and be able to report on the current status of NCA invoices both on an ad hoc and routine basis.

Requirements

  • Significant recent experience in an administrative role.
  • Significant experience of working with Microsoft Excel.
  • Experience of working in an environment where face-to-face communication skills are important.

Qualifications

  • Educated to academic Level 3 (A-level, NVQ 3 in a relevant subject area).
