Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Vehicle Technician / Test Lab Specialist to join our client's team. As a key member of the Test Laboratory Team, you will be responsible for assembling test specimens, carrying out prescribed test schedules, and monitoring test progress.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assemble test specimens for testing purposes
  • Carry out prescribed test schedules and monitor test progress
  • Record test data and report on test results
  • Interpret engineer test plans and set up test specimens on test rigs for validation testing
  • Assist in the setup of vehicle brake systems and maintain and repair mechanical test beds and test vehicles as required

Requirements

  • Apprentice-trained in Mechanics or Vehicle Maintenance
  • Experience in an engineering-based role, preferably in the automotive industry
