Job Opportunity: Children and Young People Support Worker

Brook Street Social Care NMR is seeking an experienced Support Worker to join our team in Swansea and surrounding areas. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in delivering support to children and young people, meeting their personal needs and plans.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver support to children and young people, meeting their personal needs and plans
  • Work with families to provide additional support
  • Provide emotional support and companionship
  • Work 1:1 with individuals, often with support from other staff members

Requirements:

  • 6 months UK based care experience in the last year OR a year in the last 5 years
  • Right to work in the UK (we do not offer sponsorship)
  • Willing to undergo DBS and reference checks
  • Willing to undertake personal care
  • Approachable, friendly, proactive, and engaging with service users
  • Great communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills
  • Registered with Social Care Wales
