Job Title: Children and Young People Support Worker

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Support Worker to join our team, providing support to children and young people in Swansea and surrounding areas. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in delivering support to meet the personal needs and plans of our clients, working 1:1 or in a 2:1 setting with other staff members.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver support to children and young people, meeting their personal needs and plans
  • Work 1:1 or in a 2:1 setting with other staff members
  • Provide emotional support and companionship
  • Participate in FREE training and development opportunities

Requirements:

  • 6 months UK based care experience in the last year OR a year in the last 5 years
  • Right to work in the UK (we do not offer sponsorship)
  • Willing to undergo DBS and reference checks
  • Willing to undertake personal care
  • Approachable, friendly, proactive, and engaging with service users
  • Great communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills
  • Registered with Social Care Wales
