Maintenance Controller (Vehicle Technician) Role

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Controller to join our team at CV-Library. As a key member of our workshop team, you will be responsible for authorising work in accordance with manufacturers' servicing schedules and industry-recognised times.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a time-served Motor Vehicle Technician to utilise their experience and skills in a new and challenging environment. You will work closely with customers, colleagues, and suppliers to ensure that all work is completed to the highest standard.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Authorise work in accordance with manufacturers' servicing schedules and industry-recognised times.
  2. Monitor vehicle histories, contract type, contract duration, and warranty position to ensure accurate work authorisation.
  3. Interact directly with customers, colleagues, and suppliers to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
  4. Work to deadlines under pressurised conditions to meet targets and achieve company goals.
  5. Achieve personal and company targets through proactive approach and dedication.
Requirements:
  1. Experience working in a workshop environment or similar workplace.
  2. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  3. Good computer skills and keyboard accuracy, with experience in Microsoft Office products.
  4. Good verbal and written communication skills.
  5. A proactive approach to achieve targets and contribute to team success.
Desirable:
  1. A working knowledge of Epyx 1link or alternative work authorisation platforms.
  2. Knowledge of the rental, contract hire, and fleet management sector.
  3. Electric Vehicle experience.
Job Type:

Full-time, Permanent
