Maintenance Controller (Vehicle Technician) Role

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Controller to join our team at CV-Library. As a key member of our workshop team, you will be responsible for authorising work in accordance with manufacturers' servicing schedules and industry-recognised times.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a time-served Motor Vehicle Technician to utilise their experience and skills in a new and challenging environment. You will work closely with customers, colleagues, and suppliers to ensure that all work is completed to the highest standard.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Authorise work in accordance with manufacturers' servicing schedules and industry-recognised times.
  2. Monitor vehicle histories, contract type, contract duration, and warranty position to ensure accurate and efficient work completion.
  3. Develop strong relationships with customers, colleagues, and suppliers to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
  4. Work effectively under pressure to meet deadlines and achieve targets.
  5. Contribute to the achievement of company targets and objectives.
Requirements:
  1. Proven experience working in a workshop environment or similar workplace.
  2. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  3. Good computer skills and keyboard accuracy, with experience in Microsoft Office products.
  4. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  5. Proactive approach to achieving targets and objectives.
Desirable:
  1. Working knowledge of Epyx 1link or alternative work authorisation platforms.
  2. Knowledge of the rental, contract hire, and fleet management sector.
  3. Experience working with electric vehicles.
Working Arrangements:

Full-time, permanent position with hybrid working arrangements (2 days per week) and a competitive benefits package.
