Job Title: Internal Sales Representative

As a key member of our area sales team, you will play a crucial role in contributing to our budgeted volume, revenue, market share, and business profit targets. Your key responsibilities will include:

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and manage new and existing customers in targeted areas to maximize sales opportunities.
  • Provide a link and support to internal and external sales functions, the wider commercial team, and the customer services centre.
  • Contribute to achieving our business goals by growing sales, improving quality, reducing complaints, and becoming our customers' supplier of choice.
Accountability:
  • Work with territory sales managers to maximize sales opportunities through volume, revenue, and product mix.
  • Proactively generate new business in your area through prospecting, using reports on closed, lapsed, and new accounts, as well as tools like Barbour ABI and LinkedIn to identify call lists.
  • Manage area accounts using sales tools, ensuring all customer interactions are recorded via Arvensis and/or CRM.
  • Ensure end-to-end account management, including managing queries and complaints for relevant accounts.
  • Follow up on quotes added to the system, ensuring a record of jobs won and lost is kept, and that lost or finished job quotes are archived.
  • Collaborate with the Bid Team and other relevant departments on local Government bids or major contracts.
  • Work with the cash sales team to qualify and price opportunities appropriately.
  • Be responsible for reports such as GZ and ancillary pricing.
  • Support your TSM/FSM on special projects as required.
  • Attend and contribute to area team meetings as required.
Requirements:
  • Good level of education (GCSE's / A level / Diploma).
  • Working understanding of standard software packages.
