Job Description

As a Senior Programme Director at Turner & Townsend Group, you will play a key role in delivering high-profile programmes for our global clients. Your expertise will be instrumental in driving project success, ensuring timely delivery, and exceeding client expectations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Client Representation: Act as the primary point of contact for clients, negotiating scope changes and collaborating with Business Development to secure additional work.
  • Project Planning: Develop and oversee the establishment of project plans, including the Project Execution Plan, Health and Safety Plan, and Quality Assurance/Quality Control Plan.
  • Team Mobilisation: Mobilise resources to create project teams capable of delivering high-quality work, discussing qualifications with capability leads and National Service Leads.
  • Budgeting and Scheduling: Work with managers, project engineers, and discipline leads to develop budgets, schedules, and plans for programme elements, ensuring programme goals are met or exceeded.
  • Issue Resolution: Collaborate with key project individuals to devise and execute action plans to address potential cost overruns, delays, or scope changes, advising clients and company management accordingly.
  • Quality Assurance: Promote technical and commercial excellence through Quality Assurance processes, monitoring and reporting on project progress and milestones.
Requirements
  • Leadership Skills: Highly commended leadership skills and proven ability to operate at Programme Executive Level.
  • Education and Experience: Bachelor's Degree in Project Management or related field, with significant competence spanning all stages of programme life-cycle.
  • Technical and Business Background: Broad general technical and business background, with previous project management experience on large-scale programme/project types.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and oral communication skills, with a thorough knowledge of industry practices and regulations.
  • Industry Knowledge: Knowledge of current innovation and its effective utilisation on programmes/projects.
