Position Overview

Salary: £25,000 to £40,000 per annum plus benefits including Pension, Parking, Profit Share, Private Healthcare, Professional Subscriptions, and Cycle to Work Scheme.

Company: Zodiac Recruitment is seeking a dedicated and skilled Senior Civil Engineer to join our dynamic team.

Role Responsibilities

The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in a diverse range of Civil Engineering projects, particularly in highway and drainage design for various developments. Key responsibilities include:

  • Producing comprehensive drawings for Civil Engineering projects.
  • Conducting drainage calculations, including QBar, attenuation storage, soakaway sizing, foul loads, pipeline capacities, and network analysis.
  • Designing adoptable and non-adoptable highways, driveways, and footpaths with various surface types.
  • Preparing Developer Enquiries, Environment Agency product requests, and LLFA information requests related to drainage designs and flood risk assessments.
  • Submitting S104, S106, and S185 application forms to the relevant authorities.
  • Compiling reports such as Transport Statements, Travel Plans, Flood Risk Assessments, and Drainage Strategy Reports.
  • Exhibiting confidence and capability in team and project management.
  • Utilizing drainage and highway design software effectively.
  • Working independently and proactively.
Qualifications and Experience

The successful candidate will have:

  • A minimum of 8 years of post-qualification experience in Civil Engineering.
  • A full UK driving license and access to personal transport.
