Technical Design Lead for Civil Engineering Projects

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Infrastructure Design Engineer to join our team at Fortis Recruitment Solutions. As a key member of our civil engineering consultancy, you will be responsible for providing technical design expertise for a range of projects involving highways, civil, drainage, and flood alleviation schemes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical design skills for highways, civil, drainage, and flood alleviation projects
  • Manage and motivate junior colleagues, assisting with their general training and development
  • Represent the company at project and public meetings, maintaining excellent client relationships
  • Utilize software such as Microdrainage, PDS, Site 3D (AutoCAD), and AutoCAD to create and maintain high-quality designs

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in infrastructure design engineering, with a focus on highways and drainage projects
  • Expertise in Microdrainage, PDS, Site 3D (AutoCAD), and AutoCAD software
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to represent the company at project and public meetings
  • Ability to manage and motivate junior colleagues, assisting with their training and development
