Job Title: People & Culture Advisor

Join O'Brien Fine Foods as a key member of our HR team, responsible for driving and delivering transactional excellence in employee experience, leave management, and performance management.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage end-to-end onboarding process, including induction and employee orientation.
  • Support the Organisation Performance Management Framework throughout the employee life cycle, including probation, employee relations issues, and absence management.
  • Administer leave policies, such as annual leave, sick leave, maternity/paternity, parental, and force majeure leave.
  • Oversee recruitment processes for operatives, including advertising, job offers, reference checks, and contract administration.
  • Process all leavers, including conducting exit interviews, analyzing exit data, and producing summary reports and trending analysis.
  • Support management in all employee relation issues, adhering to best practice and escalating serious incidents to the HR Business Partner.
  • Implement and maintain People policies and procedures to ensure effective, fair, and consistent management of employees across the UK.
  • Ensure HR reporting is complete in a timely and accurate manner, including headcount, absenteeism, and turnover analysis.
  • Foster and support a culture that prioritizes Health and Safety by role-modeling excellent H&S practices.
