About the Role

Pulse Healthcare is seeking a highly skilled Senior Occupational Therapist to join our team in a low and medium secure service for male patients. As a Senior Occupational Therapist, you will be responsible for providing compassionate and effective leadership to junior staff, ensuring the delivery of occupational therapy student placements, and supporting the completion of appraisals/personal development plans with junior staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Communicate effectively with a range of clinicians, managers, directors, and stakeholders
  • Provide leadership and support to junior staff, including support staff and assistants
  • Ensure the delivery of occupational therapy student placements
  • Support the completion of appraisals/personal development plans with junior staff
  • Develop and implement appropriate policies, protocols, and care pathways
Requirements
  • Current HCPC registration
  • Demonstrates evidence of highly effective clinical reasoning skills
  • Specialist knowledge of relevant assessment and treatment models
