About the Role

VickerStock is seeking a highly skilled QHSE Compliance Officer to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of quality, health, and safety across our operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct regular audits and site inspections to ensure compliance with QHSE standards
  • Perform compliance checks and update records accordingly
  • Collect, review, and assess documentation from sub-contractors
  • Develop and deliver employee QHSE induction programs
  • Coordinate contractor inductions and maintain accurate records
  • Support QHSE awareness initiatives through various campaigns
  • Investigate and report accidents, near misses, and dangerous occurrences
  • Compile data and complete QHSE administrative tasks
  • Assist in reviewing and updating QHSE policies and procedures
  • Collaborate with line managers to enhance their safety responsibilities
  • Drive initiatives to improve ISO Management Systems
Requirements
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar role
  • NEBOSH Certification
  • ISO Internal Auditor or equivalent experience
  • Experience working with ISO standards (ISO 9001, 14001, 45001)
  • Knowledge of relevant QHSE regulations and standards
  • Attention to detail and strong communication skills
Desirable Qualifications
  • Member of IOSH (Institute of Occupational Safety and Health)
  • Understanding of BRC Global Standards
  • Experience in QHSE management systems and procedures
  • Experience in ISO 28000
