Mobile Cook Manager

We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Mobile Cook Manager to join our team at Norse Catering. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will be responsible for managing the kitchen, preparing and serving meals for young people and school staff, and ensuring an engaging and interactive dining experience.
About the RoleThis is a permanent, 25-hour per week position, working Monday to Friday, 08:00 to 13:00. The role is term-time only, with 38 weeks of work per year, offering a great work-life balance. Your pay will be pro rata, with 1/12th of your salary paid every month, regardless of school holidays.
Key Responsibilities- Manage the kitchen team and ensure the smooth operation of the kitchen
- Prepare and serve meals for young people and school staff
- Ensure food safety, health and safety, and food allergen management
- Work with our central team to manage food safety and health and safety
- Collaborate with our dedicated menu, promotions, and compliance teams to provide menu cycles, special diet menus, and promotional posters
We are looking for someone with previous experience working in a busy kitchen environment, with a good understanding of the food industry, costs, and working to a set budget. A passion for delivering fantastic customer service is essential, and we will be looking for you to demonstrate strong communication skills and an adaptable approach to work.
