Mobile Cook Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mobile Cook Manager to join our team at Norse Commercial Services Limited. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will be responsible for managing the preparation, cooking, and serving of meals for young people and school staff.
About the Role:- Permanent position, 25 hours per week
- Monday to Friday, 08:30 - 13:30
- Term-time only, 38 weeks per year
As a Mobile Cook Manager, you will be an integral part of our school community, working closely with our central team to manage food safety, health and safety, and food allergens. You will also have access to our electronic tablet, which will provide you with regular updates and keep paperwork to a minimum.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage the kitchen team and ensure the smooth operation of the kitchen
- Prepare, cook, and serve meals for young people and school staff
- Ensure an engaging and interactive dining experience for all
- Work closely with our central team to manage food safety, health and safety, and food allergens
- Previous experience working in a busy kitchen environment
- Organized approach and good understanding of the food industry, costs, and working to a set budget
- Passion for delivering fantastic customer service and strong communication skills
- Adaptable approach to work and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
