Mobile Cook Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mobile Cook Manager to join our team at Norse Commercial Services Limited. As a Mobile Cook Manager, you will be responsible for managing the kitchen team, preparing, cooking, and serving lunches for young people and school staff, ensuring an engaging and interactive dining experience for all.
About the Role:- Temporary position, 30 hours per week, Monday to Friday
- Term-time only, 38 weeks per year, offering a great work-life balance
- Pro rata salary, with 1/12th of your salary paid every month
You will become an integral part of the school, working closely with the central team to manage food safety, health, and safety, and food allergens. Our dedicated menu, promotions, and compliance teams will provide you with menu cycles, special diet menus, and promotional posters, giving you time to focus on food.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage the kitchen team, ensuring a smooth and efficient operation
- Prepare, cook, and serve lunches for young people and school staff
- Ensure an engaging and interactive dining experience for all
- Work closely with the central team to manage food safety, health, and safety, and food allergens
We are looking for someone with previous experience working in a busy kitchen environment, with a good understanding of the food industry, costs, and working to a set budget. A passion for delivering fantastic customer service is essential, and we will be looking for you to demonstrate strong communication skills and an adaptable approach to work.
