Position Overview:

We are in search of a compassionate and dedicated Autism Support Educator to become an integral part of our team, providing essential assistance to a student with autism.

The ideal candidate will be committed to fostering a positive learning experience for a child with autism, demonstrating the ability to engage and motivate them throughout their educational journey.


Key Responsibilities:
Deliver individualized support to a student with autism, aiding them in academic tasks, social skills, and emotional management.

Work collaboratively with the classroom teacher and support staff to create and execute personalized learning strategies tailored to the student's requirements.

Encourage a nurturing and inclusive educational atmosphere where the student feels secure, appreciated, and inspired to learn.
Employ effective communication techniques to ensure positive interactions and establish a trusting relationship with the student.
Implement behavioral strategies and interventions to enhance positive behavior and emotional health.
Track and document the student's progress, identifying areas for improvement and development.

Qualifications:
Experience working with children with autism or special educational needs is highly advantageous.
A solid understanding of autism spectrum disorders along with familiarity with proven intervention strategies is essential.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to cultivate trusting relationships with students, families, and colleagues.
Demonstrated patience, empathy, and a genuine enthusiasm for supporting children with diverse learning requirements.
Capability to adapt to the individual needs and learning preferences of the student.
Relevant qualifications in education, special education, psychology, or related fields are preferred.
