Senior Computational Biologist Role

Avanti is seeking a highly skilled postdoctoral researcher with expertise in computational biology and protein design to join our team.

Location: London (Camden area, hybrid)

Salary: £45k to £55k DOE and postdoc experience

We are looking for a talented individual with a strong background in molecular biology, general sequencing, and RFDiffusion. The ideal candidate will have experience in manipulating 3D images of sequences of atoms and using scientific coding and modern libraries.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop computational models for protein design and vaccine sequencing
  • Collaborate with our team to integrate computational methods into our research pipeline
  • Develop and maintain software tools for data analysis and visualization
  • Communicate research findings through publications and presentations

Requirements:

  • PhD with postdoc experience (4+ years total research experience)
  • Strong background in molecular biology, general sequencing, and RFDiffusion
  • Excellent programming skills in R and/or Python
  • Experience with 3D image manipulation and scientific coding
