About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled CASS Reconciliations & Reporting Associate to join our dynamic team in London. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accurate accounting and safeguarding of all client money & assets, adhering to controls and FCA CASS regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Construct CASS reconciliations in accordance with internal policies and procedures.
  • Undertake discrepancy management, ensuring exceptions are investigated, escalated or resolved.
  • Ensure that asset shortfalls are identified and correctly funded.
  • Monitor the allocation of client money to ensure it is allocated promptly.
  • Complete the daily Internal Client Money Reconciliation.
  • Collate data required for the production of the CMAR submission.
  • Peer review and sign-off of reconciliations performed within the team.
  • Perform any User Acceptance Testing or other system testing relating to reconciliation activities.
  • Assist in the implementation of process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in reconciliations.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in financial operations, reconciliations or similar roles.
  • Strong knowledge of CASS regulations.
  • Exposure to automated reconciliation tools; Autorek is desirable.
  • High standard of IT literacy with a focus on Microsoft Excel.
  • Detail-oriented and organized with the ability to meet deadlines independently.
  • Excellent communication skills; able to engage positively with colleagues at all levels and third parties.
