The Role: Grocery Network Optimization Analyst

We are seeking a highly analytical and strategic individual to join our team as a Grocery Network Optimization Analyst. In this role, you will play a crucial part in optimizing our grocery delivery network across the EU.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with Last Mile stakeholders to manage store profitability for expansion approval and network optimization.
  • Conduct simulations to assist leadership in making informed decisions regarding site coverage.
  • Analyze complex quantitative data to provide clear and concise insights for strategic decision-making.
  • Develop automation tools to streamline analysis tasks using scripting languages such as Python and R.
  • Extract valuable insights from live operations data to influence network topology strategy.
  • Create data proxies and heuristics for unknown datasets.
  • Establish success criteria and parameters for live tests to validate model hypotheses.

Your Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a relevant field.
  • Proven experience in requirements definition and data-driven business insights.
  • Proficiency in Excel and SQL.
  • Track record of offering business recommendations and influencing stakeholders.
  • Background in financial and business analysis.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Expertise in Excel, including VBA, pivot tables, array functions, power pivots, etc., and data visualization tools like Tableau.
  • Experience in business, finance, or related analytical fields.
  • Specialization in tax, finance, or a similar area.
