About the Role

Amazon's EU Global Transportation Service (GTS) team is seeking a skilled Program Manager to join the EU Transportation Network Engineering team. As a key member of this team, you will play a crucial role in designing and optimizing our transportation network to meet the evolving needs of our customers.

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of physical and digital transportation processes, from our Fulfillment Centers to our final mile carriers. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify and drive programs that improve our transportation network's efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance the customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a network design and optimization strategy to support business objectives, including cost reductions, improved delivery speed, and enhanced customer satisfaction.
  • Design and implement necessary tools to enable optimal network design and decision-making.
  • Collaborate with commercial, operational, and technical stakeholders to drive the implementation of initiatives and ensure seamless execution.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in program or project management, with a strong track record of delivering results in a fast-paced environment.
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookUps) and SQL, with experience in data analysis and problem-solving.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as logistics, transportation, or business administration.

  • Experience in identifying and resolving complex issues, with a strong analytical mindset.
  • Proven ability to analyze data to drive business decisions and identify areas for improvement.
  • Experience in defining program requirements and using data and metrics to measure success.
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration skills, with experience working with technical and non-technical teams.
