Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Support Worker to join our team in a residential setting. As a Senior Support Worker, you will play a key role in providing high-quality childcare practice, underpinned by a Person-Centred Values therapeutic approach.

Key Responsibilities
  • Safeguarding and Welfare: Actively safeguard and promote the welfare of our children and young people, ensuring their physical, emotional, and psychological needs are met.
  • Childcare Practice: Provide high-quality childcare practice, adhering to Aspris Care's philosophy and Person-Centred Values therapeutic approach.
  • Team Leadership: Support the Registered Home Manager in ensuring a warm, nurturing, homely, and accepting environment is delivered and developed in accordance with our core values.
Requirements
  • Experience: Minimum 18 months or more experience working within a residential setting.
  • Qualifications: Achieved your Level 3 Diploma (Residential Childcare) or equivalent / or working towards.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Ability to interact with a range of people/young people.
  • Leadership: Confidence and ability to lead a team of practitioners.
  • Consistency: Ability to provide consistency of care and support to the young people.
  • Challenging Behaviour: Experience working with children who may display challenging behaviour.
  • Shift Work: Willingness to work shifts, including weekends, evenings, and sleep-in duties on a rota system.
  • Driving Licence: Full driving licence is essential.
