Role Overview:

As a Relief Manager, you will oversee operations across our country houses, ensuring a seamless experience for guests on guided or self-guided tours. This position allows you to gain insights into all 16 of our Country Houses, covering for managers during their absences. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Customer Service Excellence: Ensure the highest standards of service, prioritizing guest satisfaction at all times.
  • Culinary Oversight: Manage the culinary team to deliver outstanding dining experiences while adhering to budgetary constraints.
  • Front of House Management: Lead the front of house staff, maintaining impeccable standards in guest rooms and communal areas.
  • Property Care and Maintenance: Work alongside the maintenance team to identify and resolve property issues promptly.
  • Support from Central Functions: Utilize resources from our central teams for recruitment, occupancy management, Health & Safety compliance, purchasing, and reporting.

Candidate Profile:

We seek individuals with the following qualifications:

  • A strong background in the Tourism or Hospitality sector, particularly in roles such as Hotel Manager, Country House Manager, or Hospitality Manager, demonstrating a successful track record.
  • Flexibility to work varied hours, including evenings and weekends.
