This role involves working in a multi-site environment, catering to students with a variety of educational requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Designing and implementing flexible lesson plans tailored to a diverse range of student abilities.
  • Creating a secure and engaging learning atmosphere.
  • Instructing students on practical strategies that enhance their learning experiences beyond the classroom.
  • Providing constructive feedback to facilitate student growth.
  • Ensuring the safety and well-being of all students and staff.
  • Conducting assessments to monitor progress.
  • Delivering individualized support through one-on-one interventions.
  • Facilitating group activities to promote collaborative learning.
  • Contributing to whole-school initiatives.

The Ideal Candidate Will Possess:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Early Career Teacher (ECT) status.
  • Experience in teaching various subjects at both Primary and Vocational levels within the UK educational system, with effective behavior management skills.

Experience in SEND Education:

  • Ability to build strong relationships with students.
  • Competence in de-escalating challenging behaviors in a calm and safe manner.
  • Background in teaching within mainstream secondary schools, SEND settings, pupil referral units, SEMH schools, or specialized units.
  • Capability to plan, deliver, and assess high-quality lessons.
  • Willingness to commute as necessary.
  • Strong behavior management techniques that align with the ethos of the educational institution.
  • Familiarity with various needs including ADD, ADHD, ODD, CAMHS, Complex Needs, Behavioral Difficulties, Autism, or MLD.
