Role Overview

This role involves fitting, operating, and maintaining on-track machines in a safe manner, adhering to competency standards and safety protocols. Full training will be provided to successful candidates, making it an ideal opportunity for individuals with an engineering background looking to advance their career in the Rail industry.

Main Responsibilities

  • Booking on and off duty as directed
  • Maintaining clear communication with the Rail Plant Control Room
  • Operating on-track machines according to established standards
  • Assisting in maintenance and safety checks

Skills and Qualifications

  • NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Valid driving license
  • Flexible, team-oriented, and mechanically minded
