Job Title: Business Analyst, Compliance and Regulatory

The Commoditas team is seeking a highly skilled Business Analyst to play a critical role in bridging the gap between trading operations and technology teams. As a Business Analyst, you will be responsible for analyzing business requirements, designing and implementing solutions within the Beacon CTRM platform, and ensuring that trading operations are optimized for efficiency and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Business Analysis: Gather and document business requirements from stakeholders across the trading, risk management, and compliance teams. Conduct detailed analysis of trading workflows and processes to identify areas for improvement and optimization.
  • Beacon CTRM Implementation: Configure and customize the Beacon CTRM platform to meet business requirements.
  • Project Management: Lead and manage projects related to the implementation and enhancement of the Beacon CTRM platform. Ensure project milestones are met on time and within budget.
  • Training and Support: Provide training and support to end-users to ensure effective utilization of the Beacon CTRM platform. Develop training materials and documentation.
  • Data Analysis and Reporting: Design and implement custom reports and dashboards within Beacon CTRM. Analyze trading data to provide insights and recommendations to the trading and risk management teams.
  • Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure that all solutions comply with regulatory requirements and internal risk management policies. Monitor and report on compliance issues.
Qualifications:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a Business Analyst in the commodities trading sector. Strong understanding of commodities markets, particularly in [specific commodities such as oil, gas, metals, etc.].
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Python and familiarity with the Beacon CTRM's Python-based architecture. Experience with SQL and database management. Knowledge of API integrations and data visualization tools. Strong project management abilities. Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and quality.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with cloud-based implementations. Certification in Business Analysis or Project Management. Knowledge of regulatory requirements in commodities trading.
