CBW Staffing Solutions is seeking a skilled Fabric Maintenance Specialist to join our team. As a Fabric Maintenance Specialist, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance tasks on commercial buildings, ensuring that all facilities are well-maintained and running smoothly.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including painting, decorating, and basic lighting repairs
  • Fix furniture and install/repair blinds
  • Maintain and update log books
  • Assist the maintenance team on site
  • Escort sub-contractors
  • Undertake basic fabric duties, including touching up paintwork, tightening hinges, and making minor repairs to cabinets and desks

Requirements:

  • Must have some trade certificates (plumbing, carpentry, etc.)
  • Knowledge of commercial building maintenance
  • An understanding of most building fabric duties
  • Good communication skills
  • Health & Safety experience
  • Basic PC literacy (Microsoft Word, Excel, Internet, smartphone use)
  • Ability to deliver excellent customer service
  • Self-motivation with the ability to manage tight time constraints and prioritize workload
