Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Workshop Assistant to join our team at Focus Resourcing Group. As a Workshop Assistant, you will play a crucial role in the day-to-day running of our European Service & Repair centre.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Undertake allocated tasks to assist with the smooth operation of the service centre
  • Maintain, clean, and organise the fleet of demonstration boats
  • Operate the daily operation in the stores and dispatch parts orders as received
  • Prepare repairs to rowing boats, including the opportunity to learn carbon fibre repair, composite infusion manufacturing, and paint spraying

Requirements:

  • Knowledge of rowing and the basic functions of a rowing boat would be advantageous
  • Competent in English speaking and reading requirements on job sheets
  • Awareness of Health and Safety in the workshop environment
  • Manual handling with heavy lifting
  • A great team spirit with the common goal to achieve excellent results
  • Trainees from an automotive/body shop/paint sprayer background welcome
