Job Title: Maintenance Assistant

The Roseate Reading is a luxury hotel that prides itself on its exceptional service and attention to detail. We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Maintenance Assistant to join our team.

Responsibilities:
  • Maintain and ensure the efficient operation of all plant, boiler, air conditioning, and heating equipment in the hotel.
  • Perform emergency repairs and short-term maintenance, prioritizing guest rooms and services.
  • Liaise with Service Engineers and other departments to address breakdowns and coordinate maintenance.
  • Manage and check maintenance stock levels, ordering as necessary to ensure service continuity.
  • Follow and ensure compliance with the hotel's Health and Safety policies, including fire alarm system checks, emergency procedures, and electrical regulations.
  • Adhere strictly to all security and key procedures, especially when dealing with external contractors.
  • Deliver superior customer service and attend training sessions as required to enhance skills.
  • Ensure compliance with fire safety regulations, safe working practices, and other hotel and company rules.
