Senior Planning Engineer - Defence (Construction)

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Planning Engineer to join our Defence (Construction) team in Leeds. As a key member of our Project Controls team, you will be responsible for providing performance reporting and analysis support on high-profile defence projects throughout North Yorkshire.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop work breakdown structures and robust performance baselines with cost and planning engineers
  • Establish progress and cost monitoring methods
  • Produce project control reports and provide performance analysis and recommendations for clients
  • Work with Programme Controls Management, Earned Value (EVM), Change & Risk Management, Planning, Project Controls, and PMO tools

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working in a project controls environment within the defence/nuclear sector
  • Experience in at least one of the following: Programme Controls Management, Earned Value (EVM), Change & Risk Management, Planning, Project Controls, and PMO
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Rigorous in following documented processes and governance
  • Ability to innovate in creative ways to meet the challenges of the changing project environment
