Job Title: Senior Planning Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Planning Engineer to join our Project Controls team in Leeds. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in supporting major construction projects across the Defence sector.

The successful candidate will have previous experience working in a project controls environment within the defence/nuclear sector, with a strong understanding of Programme Controls Management, Earned Value (EVM), Change & Risk Management, Planning, Project Controls and/or PMO. They will also have excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to innovate in creative ways to meet the challenges of the changing project environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop work breakdown structures and robust performance baselines in collaboration with cost and planning engineers
  • Establish progress and cost monitoring methods
  • Produce project control reports and provide performance analysis and recommendations for clients
Requirements:
  • Previous experience working in a project controls environment within the defence/nuclear sector
  • Experience in at least one of the following: Programme Controls Management, Earned Value (EVM), Change & Risk Management, Planning, Project Controls and/or PMO
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to innovate in creative ways to meet the challenges of the changing project environment
